Together with our academic partners, we develop and provide hands-on learning and skills development programs and activities, such as internship for students, faculty immersion, and guest-lecture series; collaborate on research and innovation by conducting joint-research projects, creating innovation hubs/labs, and staging research conferences; aid in curriculum development and integration to ensure that industry needs are considered in curriculum development, including development of new masters programs, and micro-credentials or short-term certificate courses; and continue to raise knowledge and understanding of energy and sustainability through advocacy and public awareness activities.

K-Ligtas (Kuryenteng Ligtas) is the electrical safety recognition program of the Meralco Power Academy — and the first safety recognition program of its kind in the Philippines — established to promote a stronger culture of safety across the Philippine energy and power sector.
