Description
This 1-day course will discuss what arc flash is and its effects on personnel working live on electrical installations. Topics to be covered are arc flash boundaries the provisions of the PEC on arc flash, arc flash energy, IEEE Standard 1584 series of 2018, and a brief comparison with the 2002 edition. Sample calculations will be presented to determine the arc flash energy and arc flash boundary.
