K-Ligtas Awards

The K-Ligtas Awards is an electrical safety advocacy program of Meralco through the Meralco Power Academy, in collaboration with the Philippines’ premiere authorities in electrical systems, labor management, and public safety: the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE); Department of Energy (DOE); Department of Labor and Employment – Occupational Safety and Health Center (DOLE-OSHC); Professional Regulation Commission Board of Electrical Engineering; University of the Philippines Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute; and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

It is the first electrical safety excellence awards program in the country, which formally recognizes exemplary companies and institutions that have successfully integrated electrical safety and outstanding work practices into their respective corporate culture and have demonstrated commitment and outstanding results in the field of electrical safety.

Youth Engineers and Scientists Summit

YESS is designed for College and High School (K10-12) students who are interested in how science and technology are making our future more exciting. The summit is a day event which includes interactive presentations and talks that will sharpen the students’ interest in Science and Technology.

Academe Industry Immersion

SHS Work Immersion program with Imus and Dasmariñas schools in partnership with Meralco, Society of Philippine Electrotechnical Constructors and Suppliers inc. (SPECS), WCCC Electrical Services and BELTRAN Electrical Contractor.
